Lucy Norek Marries Leo, 1909, Chicago
On November 17, 1909, Lucy Norek 21 marries Leo 25. Lucy marries and thus departs the Norek household a year after Michael Jr. is born to her father and her cousin Antonia.
As mentioned elsewhere, Lucy was 18 when she lost her mother, and two years later she lost her father, in a sense, when he married Antonia. If Lucy resents Antonia for this second loss, and if Antonia resents the resentment, who could blame either of these still very young women? It is the situation itself that is difficult.
I have not seen the records for this marriage. The date was obtained from the family tree records.
