To Make a Long Story Short
In 1842 Jacob Tybus marries Christina Lardau in the town of Dirschau, West Prussia. Their sixth child, Michael, marries Augusta Ponczek. Their seventh child, Helena, marries Michael Norek. Michael & Augusta Tybus remain in Dirschau to raise their children. Michael and Helena Norek emigrate to the U.S. in 1892 and raise their children in Chicago.
In 1904 Michael & Helena send for Michael & Augusta's oldest daughter, Antonia. Antonia travels from Eastern Europe to her Aunt Helena's home in Chicago, arriving 10 days before her 16th birthday. Helena dies in 1906. Antonia marries Michael Norek in 1908. They name their first child Michael (Michael Jr.).
